Software installation
Move software to another computer
These instructions vary depending on your product / version. Locate the appropriate product / version and follow the instructions. In order to move data from one computer to another you must copy your data file. The data file contains all the data you have collected with your Digital Scout program. This file can be transferred using a zip disk, floppy disk, CD-ROM, or share drive depending upon the size of the file.
It is very important to note that the data you back up is only as current as the day you backed up it. In addition, it should only replace the existing data file (The data file collects and stores all data you enter on your desktop computer and handheld computer.) if your computer crashes and loses all your data. **IMPORTANT: If you replace your current data file with your saved data file you will lose any information entered after the day you backed up your data file.**
