Digital Scout Frequently Asked Questions

You may wish to print this guide to have an easy reference as you perform the activation procedure.

1. Double click on the Digital Scout icon for the software you need to register.  Here is what the Digital Scout icon looks like for the Statware Basketball v6.0 product: 

2. The following Digital Scout Software Activation window will appear:
3. If you have internet access, follow the instructions below.  If you do not have internet access or are prevented (due to firewall restrictions) from activating automatically, continue to step 4.
• Enter the product Serial Number in the space provided. 
• Click Automatic activation.  If you are unable to activate your software, continue to step 4.
4. If you do not have internet access or are prevented from activating through the internet access option, follow the instructions below
• Write down the Hardware ID (Please note that yours will be different than the one displayed here.)
  
• Go to http://www.digitalscoutactivation.com.  The website will look like the following:
• Enter your Serial Number and Hardware ID in the spaces provided.
• Select Activate.
• If you have correctly typed your Serial Number and Hardware ID, a web page will display like the following:
• Write down the Activation Code.
• Go back to the Digital Scout Software Activation window and enter the Activation Code.
• Select Manual Activation.
• If the Activation Code has been entered correctly, the Digital Scout software will launch and open to the home screen.

At this point your software is now registered.  If you need to move your software in the future, you will need to deactivate it first.  Click the link below for further instructions.
